Yasmeen has a written a new play, Break The Floorboards, a co-production between Rifco Arts and Watford Palace Theatre. The story of a young Muslim boy who wants to dance, it's a dance comedy-drama, fusing street dance with Bollywood. Yasmeen is doing her first Edinburgh show as one-half of sketch duo Asian Provocateurs. They are performing, Aug 4th-28th (excl. Mondays) at 6.15pm at Espionage, Victoria Street.
Yasmeen is one half of sketch duo Asian Provocateurs, who were finalists in March in the prestigious New Act of the Year competition and are now writing their first Edinburgh show.
